Enterprise State Community College

Can you believe it is the first week in August? To celebrate #NationalBackToSchoolMonth, we decided to put the spotlight on Enterprise State Community College, our nearby higher-ed neighbor!

About Enterprise State Community College

Enterprise State Community College welcomed its first wave of students in September 1965.

In fact, at that time some 256 students took classes in rented spaces downtown including the educational building of the Enterprise First United Methodist Church.

However, things quickly progressed, and by the fall of 1966 the present-day campus was established. Now the campus consists of seven state-of-the-art buildings on a beautifully-landscaped site.
