Don’t be a Grinch. The countdown to holiday fun is on! In fact, the festive Whoville Celebration 2022 in Downtown Enterprise is a mere two days away!
About the annual Whoville Celebration
Each year on the first Saturday of December, Downtown Enterprise is transformed into a magical place—our very own Whoville! This year’s Whoville Celebration is on December 3rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be holiday shopping, holiday activities, music, food trucks, and much more. Activities start with the opening ceremony at 10 a.m.
Other holiday highlights include Cindy Lou Who’s Playland, the Who Look-A-Like Contest, Max’s Pet Costume Contest and the Who Circle Sing-Along.
Remember to stop by one of the salon tents for a WHO-do makeover and hairstyle before the Who Look-A-Like Contest at 11:30 by the Boll Weevil monument. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Registration is free. All you have to do is stop by the information tent and fill out a form by 11:15.
Bounce over to Cindy Lou Who’s Playland next to Simplicity of Life on 222 South Main St. for all the inflatables you can imagine!
Save time for you and your pup to strut your stuff during Max’s Pet Costume Contest, starting at 2 p.m. at the monument. Again, stop by the information tent to fill out the free registration form before 1:45 p.m.
Last but not least, end the day on a high note with the Who Circle Sing-Along led by Hoobler Music Studio students at 3:45 p.m.
New this year
The Whoville Celebration 2022 in Downtown Enterprise is excited to announce the addition of Mt. Crumpit Rides & Slides this year!
This new area of fun is open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will include the Elf Driving School, a snow maze and an Alpine Tubing Slide. Guests can find Mt. Crumpit Rides & Slides on West College Street and Sessions Field in downtown.
Another brand new Whoville adventure involves a riddle-and-clue driven scavenger hunt. While you are having a blast downtown, be on the lookout for the Grinch’s heart as part of the Whoville Scavenger Hunt!
