What is Main Street Enterprise?
Main Street Enterprise seeks to economically empower our local Main Street. Because Main Street in Enterprise features many local businesses, its success can impact the vitality of our whole town. So, when it thrives, our whole city enjoys that economic success.

What is Main Street Alabama?
Since 2010, Main Street Alabama has helped local Main Streets from all over the state. This nonprofit organization knows that a strong Main Street means:
- More local jobs;
- More resources;
- A stronger local economy;
- A stronger state economy; and
- A more successful town.
Main Street Alabama is also a part of a wider project! It uses ideas and strategies from the National Main Street Approach.
How does Main Street Enterprise help our town?
If you’ve ever been to Main Street in Enterprise, you know that it hosts wide array of successful small businesses. These businesses and employees have benefited from the help of Main Street Alabama, which seeks to fortify our local economy through one of its most unique ports: its Main Street location. Main Street Alabama tackles four subjects, all of them outlined by the National Main Street Approach. They are:
- Design;
- Promotion;
- Organization; and
- Economic vitality.
Together, these four cornerstones are some of the “main” things that help a local economy thrive. Well, there’s actually one more thing: you! Main Street Alabama—and Main Street Enterprise—understand that a town’s residents are extremely important. They want to make sure that each Main Street is well-connected with its residents, allowing both people and the local economy to succeed.

Our local Main Street really does have something for everybody. There are amazing local businesses like:

Many of us are staying home. That doesn’t mean that you cannot support the cause of Main Street Enterprise—and the businesses in our town—right from your living room! Some ways to help out this local spot include:
